The Argyle area, springing from the Argyle River, is a distinctive area of Nova Scotia sitting along the east side of Lobster Bay. There are a number of good access points. Lobster Bay is one of Nova Scotia’s best paddling areas as it has many islands, save inland paddling in tough weather, and access to the open sea on most summer days. Bird watching is popular and there are rookeries on some islands.
